Home of British surfing and very zealous parking wardens. Hard to find a place to free camp in this town but we were told about the Boating Lake by a nice SA National Trust lady as she had stayed here in her van sometimes. Did a big walk from there into town and around to Fistral and back. That arvo Fistral had waves but we put it off to the next morning cause of the big walk following Doc Martinland earlier. Big mistake in England, take it if its there 'cause it was very small next morning --but we went out anyway!!
