Some waves here and Liz got excited to try out the new 4/3 Roxy wetsuit when a family of surfers turned up so we got the boards down and opened them for the first time. Massive fist size hole in the rail of Liz's 8 ft and other compression injuries showing these boards had been rachet strapped in the luggage area of the planes coming over. We'd had a change of plane in Dubai so one or both stuffed up. The 9ft epoxy wasn't as bad and I was able to use some sun cure resin to make it watertight for Liz to be able to go out. I was out of commission for a surf with a pretty bad cold needing some antibiotics. Liz stayed out for 45mins but the surf had started going off by then, but she was really impressed by the suit.
