Marco was recommended as a possible repairer for our surfboards. He lives at Carrowkeel back in toward Letterkenny and we were able to drop the boards into him before he went fishing on the Sunday. It gets better because he told us where to go for my cold drugs in Letterkenny. In Ireland public hospitals cost heaps and locals take out insurance to cover. "Now Doctor" can issue scripts take no time and there was one in the old town part of Letterkenny. Still cost 50 euros but the doctor she was nice and knew everyone Liz knew and we had a great chin wag . She also knew Marco, ah! only in Ireland.
So we got the drugs when Boots the Chemist opened at 11am and we headed off to the west coast. Sheelagh is another of Liz's cousins and she and John had sent us the keys to the family holiday cottage if we wanted to use it and now seemed like a good time. A bad cold to recover from and no surfboards for a few days. Go and chill out, woops a bad choice of saying in Ireland.
