NAZCA

This was the last stop for Liz and me and it was a pretty exciting place to fly over the amazing shapes on the desert . So much conjecture over the source of these figures and great to have seen them from a small 4 seater plane. The pilot did 2 passes on each figure to get a view from both sides of the plane. The flight itself was worth the money.. Coming into Nazca there is an observation tower over a couple of the figures and you get a good first look here. But the flight is a 'must do'!
From here Liz went back to Lima and her flight home  and I continued south to Peru's second biggest city called Arequipa which gives access to the canyon country and the famous Condors of Colca Canyon
